Initially renowned for its mouthwatering smoked barbeque and vibrant live music scene, the venue witnessed the rise of iconic bands like Joe Ely, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore.

In the early 90s, the name of the establishment was changed to Texas Cafe, but the endearing nickname “The Spoon” has endured throughout the years. Today, we proudly carry on the tradition with our delectable homemade smoked pit barbeque and exceptional live performances.
