About Us

The original Texas Spoon opened in 1980 and has been a Lubbock Tradition for 30 years. It originally started by serving smoked bar-b-que and hosting live music.

The name of the “Spoon” was changed to The Texas Cafe in the early 90’s but the nickname has stuck all these years.
